Financial worries, health problems, work demands and other stressors tax your body's nervous system causing anxiety, depression, and fatigue. Even anticipation of a happy event, such as a wedding, a new job,or a new home, will cause a stress response. Some stress is good; it heightens your awareness and can improve performance, but multiple stressors have a cumulative effect and can put your health at risk. You can take steps to reduce and manage stress to bring some calm to your life.
