Tendons are generally that portion of the body that attaches the bone on the muscle enabling movement. Tendonitis occurs when the muscles become inflamed. This inflammation causes pain and soreness to the patient, suppressing proper body movement. Tendons at risk of injury always have a challenge of poor blood supply rendering it difficult to supply blood and nutrients necessary for healing. Because of this problem, tendonitis often occurs within the same body parts.
