V day is a visionary event because it focuses on the empowerment of women. Like Earth Day and many other specific days dedicated to unique causes this first V Day will be remembered one hundred years from now as a historic. Aside from the cause it promotes V day is a visionary event. By exploring visionary thinking we can find ways to integrate it into our own lives. This will then create a chain of visionary thinkers all committed to an end of violence against women and the freedom of woman.
