The oldest Baby Boomers celebrated their 65th birthdays in 2011. According to government projections, by 2030 nearly 26% of the U.S. population will be age 65 or older, compared with just 17% today. In today's competitive world, children are encouraged to train for professional sports as early as possible. With increasing numbers of families having more than one generation sharing a roof, it is becoming more important that homes be designed to meet the needs of different age groups.
