The low powered 68bhp, 3-cylinder 1.0-litre VVTi petrol engine is a smooth one, but it's promising that the 98bhp 1.33-litre VVTi will get most of the sales. The Toyota Yaris diesel engine is the best in fuel efficiency; it comes with the 89bhp 1.4-litre D4-D.
