A friend invites you out for a game of disc golf, sometimes referred to as "frolf". You immediately start shopping for a few supplies - clubs, balls, tees, and a bag. However, before you spend any money, you will not need any of those items. Frolf is actually only similar in the rules and regulations. Other than that, the equipment is completely different.
